Awaken a Reddish Haze
Nocturnal shadows rise with the Flamingo
charmed by the sunrise a reddish haze smiles.
Prone upon the pillow cherished teacup pouts
hushed morning sonnet whispers at my window.
Dreams left to wander my fan begins the day
humidity now departing the sea birds serenade.
Sand dunes sparkling as diamond glints sparkle
grasses flow serenely as terns hover surfside.
Mild on shore winds as hot water is now ready
a royal blend steeping; cherished teapot grins.
My Siamese cat yawns,
awake for another day
the tea tastes
sublime; awaken a reddish haze.
