The Ocean

महासागर The Ocean

Your tranquility misleads many

Yet few stand,

You’re devouring wrath,

Though harsh, consumed in Brine

You shelter,

An opulence of life,

Rivers gushes to be one with you,

But rarely your waves,

Abandon your shores,

Mortals read the riddles of stars,

Yet few know,

The secrets your depths hide.

Detached they say of you,

Yet generous in giving,

Your essence to rainmakers.

Little We realize,

The land beneath our feet,

Is but a projection of you.

You’re are the cradle,

Sustainer

And the last resting place.
