I Left My Lunch By the Umbrella

I Left My Lunch By the Umbrella

The beach is not a place to eat lunch.

When people who wear size 20

Walk around with size 4

My eyes are in revolt.

I drop antacids like tic-tacs

And try not to mock bigness

I am not svelte myself

But my stomach wants to empty

Its contents on a sand dune

Next to a pink umbrella.
