but had he not ears to hear?
Deaf Beethoven knew no sound
but had he not eyes to see?
We know lies whenever spread,
know injustice whenever imposed.

Anthony Wade, a Forward Prize nominee, a graduate lawyer with a Master’s Degree, an Irish Diaspora citizen educated in England who also worked in The Netherlands has published poems in Ariel Chart, Borderless, Boyne Berries, Causeway Cabhsair, Drawn To The Light, Dreich, Galway Review, Green Ink, Lakeview International Literary Journal, Madrid Review, Paddler Press, Pulsar, Setu Bilingual Journal, Strands Lit Sphere, Tiny Seed, and The Dawntreader. He now lives by the sea in East Cork not ten miles from where he spent childhood summers and is an active member of the Midleton Writers’ Group, and edited its recently published 50th anniversary anthology, ‘Midleton Golden Miscellany’.
