Memories Last Longer Than Candy

Memories Last Longer Than Candy

When I'm out with younger ones

I feel my age especially

when I talk of things I've done,

they speak of sights they'll see.

But after they come home

from every new journey

then what they'll really own

are just memories like me.

  1. the time does fly by like a plane on a journey that must end. this is parenting and this is art. wish i could tell the two apart.
