Sanctuary

Sanctuary

Go find yourself that little corner

where you can escape the mundane

and return to the essential.

A park bench

or a fuzzy corner of your home,

a place you can retreat to

and savour a few moments of uninterrupted peace and quiet.

A sanctuary away from the clutter of the rambunctious world –

devoid of worries and cares

or tasks to fulfill.

Make time to go within,

shut the world out for a little while:

empty yourself,

taste the ecstasy of the inner flow,

free yourself,

find yourself,

transcend.
