Vapor

Vapor

When my words

Are no more

Will you

Save us

From falling

Apart?

Like vapor

If I disappear

Might you

Search

Low

And high?

Just how far

Are you

Inclined to go?

If my last breath

I consign to you

Will you

Use it

To utter

At last

The truth

You’ve hoarded

All along?

Or could

It be that

I may slip

Silently

Into

Eternal night

Plagued

With an

Ever abiding angst

That this

Heart was

Never enough?
