Like Venus
You stand statuesque,
Like a masterpiece beauty.
Men discuss your smile,
Or lack thereof, as it were,
Making you so damn angry.
Into the Distance
Along the roadside
A taut high wire
beckoning
Power lines reach far
Mystery in each atom
Beckoning us all
onwards
Like Venus
You stand statuesque,
Like a masterpiece
beauty.
Men discuss your smile,
Or lack thereof, as it
were,
Making you so damn
angry.
Rusting
Drip-drop-drip of tears
Results in oxidation
Of all that they touch
