I Lost My Way (in Albuquerque)

I Lost My Way (in Albuquerque) - an Alphatriplet Tale

Adjacent

bypasses

caused traffic

delays as

every car

far and near,

glad to be

heaven bound,

instantly

joined the crowd;

killing time

like one of

many—more

nopes than hopes.

Oppressed by

pavement, the

quivering

rubber of

suffering,

tortured tires—

unfêted

victims of

wanderlust.

“X marked What?”

“Your wrong turn!”

“Zip your lip.”
