Vanishing Weight

weight of winter
vanishing in mountain streams
as snowcap melts
refreshing wildflowers
with springs of forgiveness
Pan-fried Visions
pan-fried visions
fly fishing in soft dawn light
from rain-dappled streams
flowing with otter pups
frolicking down mud banks
Normandy Remembrance
tears of loved ones
water graves above sea cliffs
marked by rows and rows
of white marble crosses
etched with their heroes’ names
