On the East Side of the Garden of Eden
More beautiful than a blossoming rose
your kiss long and intoxicating
it has me swirling around
like crimson full-bodied wine in your glass.
More sublime than ether
your breath caressing my lips
So tender and affectionate,
I'm blessed with love divine.
Your fingertips combing through my locks
so loving and sweet
like a light feather from a Cherub
on the East side of the Garden of Eden
