Velvet summer sky
Fireflies flirting beneath stars -
A visual feast.
Billie Holladay Skelley received her bachelor’s and
master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Now retired from the
nursing profession, she enjoys focusing on her writing. Her poems,
articles, and essays have appeared in various journals, magazines, and
anthologies in print and online. An award-winning author, she also has
written books for children.
