Bottled Singer
Where is your
voice now,
Muffled by
water
In a glass
bowl;
Your head
All swollen,
Contained,
Captured
For our
amusement.
But still you
smile
And your
moustache
Looks even
grander
Than usual;
I think you
know
That one high
note
Will quickly
shatter
This fragile
confinement.
