The Silence Seen

The Silence Seen

In the silence seen,

there is the quivering lip,

there is the face of fear,

there is the silent tear.

In the silence seen,

there is the uneasy smile,

there is the blank stare,

there is the lump in the throat.

In the silence seen,

there is the pause to think,

the moment of reflection,

the calm before the storm.
