Demons Do Not Dream

Demons Do Not Dream

Demons do not see themselves as

exhibiting the frigid craziness of their satanic neurology.

They do not see themselves as creeps

attacking right next to the plague.

Demons do not know how others view them,

as raving undesirables,

twice marked with the sign of the beast,

as the fiercest and most baneful dragons,

flying with aery disgrace,

not seen as feathers,

but as unassailable specters,

full of clandestine verve

for causing unspeakable suffering.

Demons do not feel they are

unsympathetic trespassers on our world,

useful as disreputable harvester of souls,

useful for stealing by subterfuge,

depraved,

without dazzle, while only their evil shines like glitter.

They have a strenuous disincentive to not remember:

past developed seethes

the planning of manifold takeovers

what to do with a soft glide

Demons do not imagine bright days in the middle circle of hell,

only infested towns with the grayest skies.

They applaud themselves on as non-physical visionaries of delicious chaos,

as the recognized establishment of the underworld, the ones at the top.

Demons do not believe they stand as devil’s toys.

They feel all decisions made that affect them are made by themselves,

nor that they could decide to represent something good.

Demons do not dream.

  1. demons do not dream because they have no faith to believe in a future, people can be stuck in the past but demons are prisoners of the present.
