Lazy Days

Lazy Days

Floating on rivers of rain

Cascading dreams

Like summer flowers

Parades filled with marching bands

And anthems sung by mixed choirs

Halcyon Sundays

And cool breezes

Floating through tree tops

Creating an umbrella of shade

Perfect for a picnic

Basking in the glow

Of lovers holding hands

Dozing in a hammock

Reading a book

A pale pink sky

A perfect backdrop

For lazy days
