We are small

 

 

sometimes

even much smaller

than the steam

 

hovering around us

 

and yet

we bear firmly stuck

to the ears

 

an immeasurable blueness of our skies.

Samo Kreutz lives in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Besides poetry (which he has been writing since he was eight years old), he writes novels, short stories and haiku. He is the author of ten books in Slovene, all published by the Ekslibris, publishing house in Ljubljana and one in English, published by Cyberwit.net from India. This haiku book is titled The Stars for Tonight and it is still available at Amazon.com.
