Old plays they still do like “Antigone,” the motherload,

humanity so obviously stated.

What a snore, get to the point, your endless speeches.

We know all this stuff and are reminded in ways

that speak to modern ears.

Stop with the Greeks, and the Romans, too.

What have they done lately?

Yes, we’re all doomed, but give it to us in a timely tune.
