River

River

I know you by another name,

a secret language only leaves remember.

Beauty on your lips,

I carried your soul on my fingers.

We were entwined as butterfly and nectar,

one not existing without the other.

Gypsy paths were trod lightly, but surely –

all roads lead to river.
